The Holy Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative word of God. It is the foundation of our faith and guides our life, teaching us the way of salvation, how to live, and the purpose of our existence.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, yet they are one in essence and nature. God is the Creator of the universe and the sustainer of life.
God the Father
We believe God the Father is the sovereign ruler of the universe. He is loving, just, and merciful. He created all things and continues to care for and guide His creation. He is the ultimate authority in the lives of His people.
God the Son
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and died for our sins on the cross. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, He provides the only way to salvation and eternal life.
God the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is God’s presence with us today. He convicts us of sin, empowers us to live according to God’s will, and equips us for service. The Holy Spirit also comforts and guides believers into all truth.
Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but through sin, humanity has fallen from grace. All people are in need of salvation and reconciliation with God, which is made possible only through faith in Jesus Christ.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is not earned through good works but is a result of God’s mercy, freely offered to all who believe in Him and receive His gift of eternal life.
The Church
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, and spread the gospel to the world. The church is made up of believers who are united in faith and love, and it exists to serve God’s purpose on earth.
Baptism & The Lord’s Supper
We believe that baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward change, publicly declaring faith in Christ. We also believe in the Lord’s Supper, a symbolic act in which we remember Christ’s sacrifice and anticipate His return.
Evangelism & Missions
We believe that every Christian is called to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. Evangelism and missions are central to the mission of the church, and every believer should be a witness to God’s love and truth in the world.
The Lord’s Day
We believe that Sunday is the Lord’s Day, set aside for worship, rest, and spiritual renewal. It is a time for believers to gather together in fellowship and to honor God for His goodness and grace.
Last Things
We believe that Christ will return in glory to judge the living and the dead. At His return, He will establish His eternal kingdom, and all believers will be with Him forever in His presence.
Education
We believe that education is a vital part of spiritual growth and discipleship. It is important to develop the mind and heart, both in the knowledge of God and in understanding how to live in accordance with His will.
Stewardship
We believe that everything we have belongs to God. As stewards of His resources, we are responsible to use our time, talents, and material possessions for His glory and to further His kingdom.
Cooperation
We believe that Christians are called to cooperate with one another in fulfilling the mission of the church. Through collaboration and unity, we can accomplish more in sharing the gospel and serving others.
The Christian & The Social Order
We believe that Christians are called to be salt and light in the world, living according to God’s standards and engaging in society in a way that reflects Christ’s love, justice, and righteousness.
